A varied 3.5 mile walk that begins in the valley bottom in Nanternis near the telephone box. From here you'll take the lane along Afon Soden to a woodland path that leads along Cwm Silio to Traeth Soden, a pebbly little storm beach where you may see the occasional seal. From here you'll head south west along the Coast Path until you come to the site of an iron age fort, Castell Bach. You'll leave the Coast Path here and head uphill towards Pen y Graig House where you meet a lane that takes you inland to a footpath that leads across a field to the church, Eglwys St Tysilio. Cross the graveyard and drop down towards the river which you cross before climbing up to meet the path which brought you into the valley. Then retrace your steps back to Nanternis.
